FAQ
Q: What forms of payment are accepted?
A: We accept cash, credit, and debit cards. Q: What is not allowed on the trail? A: We do not allow flashlights, alcohol, outside food or drinks, weapons of any kind, pets, any photography, smoking, or any behavior that is disruptive to the experience of our other guests. Q: I would like to bring my children or grandchildren to the family area, but do not plan to do the haunted forest trail. Do I need to pay for admission as well? A: Adults who are accompanying a paid child and do not wish to brave the haunt trail may accompany said child at no cost. Q: Will the haunt actors touch me? A: No. Acres of Darkness is a no-touch haunt. This means that the actors may not touch you and that you may not touch them. Guests who do not abide by this rule will be escorted from the property without a refund. Q: Is the haunt trail wheelchair accessible? A: Unfortunately, no. However, building a wheelchair accessible trail at Audubon Acres is a top priority for Chattanooga Audubon. If you or someone you know would like to make a donation to help make a trail possible, please contact the Audubon Acres visitor center. Q: Can I be paid to be a haunt actor? A: Not here. All of our actors are volunteers who give generously of their time and talents for this event. Please be respectful and courteous to them during your visit. Q: Can I be escorted off the property without a refund? A: Yes. Chattanooga Police are on site during the Acres of Darkness to assist with guests who choose to arrive intoxicated or are otherwise disruptive during their visit. Purposefully touching actors or tampering with props in any way will earn you a free police escort to the exit. |
